Te Manawa Trip

On the 21st of May we went to Te Manawa in Palmerston North. The first thing we did was go into Te Manawa and put our bags away, and get a snack for morning tea. When we had finished the delicious snack we got into our groups and ventured of into the square. Everyone had to wear yellow vests. We just had to go to the square which wasn't a long walk. In a few minutes we were there and then we started the scavenger hunt. As part of the scavenger hunt we had to take pictures and write down the answers to the 20 questions. It was a tough task. After we had finished all the questions we were allowed to do the treasure hunt in the library. That was so terrific but we had to be back before 12 o'clock to have lunch and time was running out so we didn't get all the questions answered.
Luckily everybody got back in time to have lunch. Finally everybody was sitting and eating their food while chatting to each other. In no time at all we were in the MAGIC MIRROR room and it was amazing. Ocean was near one of the mirrors and she kept on moving it around with the handle to make us look really small. We wanted to stay in there for longer but we were going to the next room.We then met Warren and we were allowed to call him Pa. He then explained that we were going to make flax fish. Even though it was fun it was really difficult.
By 2 o'clock we had finished our fish and gotten ready to get on the bus to go back to school before the day ended.           By Maia
